Poolside Maison Matecumbe 302

Perhaps the best location we have ever had in Islamorada. Walk to Tuna'a and Square Grouper. Out the door and down a few steps and you are in the pool, a few more steps and you are on the beach. Condo was dated, but basically everything worked. Value for price was good. Needs full rehab soon, but in the mean time the price charged is reflective of condition.

Just returned last week from a very memorable vacation with friends at The Maison Unit 302. Everything went very smoothly with the booking process and Sue with Freewheeler went above and beyond to make sure things were perfect! She even had an amazing key lime pie and bottle of wine waiting for us in the condo when we arrived! We travel yearly to the Islamorada area and this was our first time staying at The Maison but it definitely won’t be our last. I highly recommend contacting Sue with Freewheeler for your next vacation in the Keys!

This is the most well stocked vrbo I have ever stayed in. The unit has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The unit is spectacular in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Views are spectacular snd you’re literally steps away from the pool. The unit is within walking distance of two of the best restaurants on the island and just minutes away from the center of all the activities, restaurants, and shops. I highly recommend this unit!

Loved every minute of it! Especially pool access and large patio areas. Furniture needs some love in family room. Lighting could be better too, but who cares, we had a memorable time w our best friends and sons Godparents. Would grab that unit again in a heartbeat

We loved Poolside Maison Matecumbe. The house was spacious and lovely. The large pool was wonderful. Many beautiful places to hang out. Loved eating breakfast on the screened patio, and having the pool mere steps away. Restaurants and shopping were all close by and easy to get to. Our host Sue was always available to take calls and answer questions. Highly recommended!!

We were 2 - well traveled couples (no children) looking for tranquil, warm, respite. Maison #302 was idyllic. Location is everything and Maison is no exception. It is a small-ish, gaited complex close to grocery, many excellent restaurants, quaint shops, but off the highway - so very quiet. After traveling the length of the Keys, we were so happy we chose Islamorada and Maison 302 specifically. This condo is so comfortable and well laid out it felt like home. We based our selection on 2 king rooms, the patio and access/view to pool & beachside. Not all condos at Maison have 'direct' access to the pool (just steps off the patio). It was well appointed although furniture has some wear. It is expertly managed and communication was superb. Cannot recommend more highly - We're planning to return.

Sue Batsford and the team at Freewheeler Vacations do a fabulous job! We have rented this property for the last two years and they have exceeded our expectations in every way. The property and it's location are beautiful and perfectly suited to our needs. We have already booked it for next year.
