Excellent, we loved every second of this place, paradise

It was our first time renting unit 303. Our trip was wonderful and we loved the great location, decor & comfortable beds. Easy access to the pool, hot tub & beach. The kitchen was well equipped and loved the coffee selection. A few recommendations would be.... A list of condo rules & information, wifi passcode. The dishwasher did not work that well. The windows and sliding doors we sticky but I know new windows and doors are in the works. We hope to be back next year! Thank you,Molly Mershon

Let me start off with the positives. The condo is located in the middle of Islamorada so you can get to any of the shops or dining in under 5 minutes. The condo is stunning. Decorated and updated and just perfect. Sue( property manager) was an absolute delight! We had a key lime pie waiting for us upon arrival. She gave me the decorators number and we bought items similar to ones that are in the condo. The pool is amazing. The view is stunning. Our family had an absolutely wonderful time. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 were these two issues: construction and the beach. There are condos under construction and it was not peaceful while at the pool during the week. Laying in the pool with dust from concrete work was not what I had envisioned when we booked the unit. The second disappointment was the beach. It was not soft sand but rocks broken down to look like sand. I get that there are very few beaches the the Keys but they should of at least brought real sand in for the beach. None of us went to the beach at all as your feet hurt just walking on it. That being said, we plan on coming back next year.

Everything was wonderful. Only negatives were elevator broken, kayaks old and leaking, cooking utensils could be updated. Very few coffee cups too. Otherwise... lovely.

Our family was looking for a quarantine-away from home and this spot was perfect. The unit was beautiful, amenities awesome, and location perfect. Most if not all of the other units were not rented, so our family of four had the property mostly to ourselves the entire week. My only complaint is the sargassum that filled the entire beach area; however, I understand why it's not removed and the odor was not as bad as other places in the Keys I have stayed. I do think property managers should advise renters of this seaweed "season" during the reservation process. Otherwise, we loved everything about this property.

Our stay at the Oceanfront Maison was absolutely perfect in every way. Sue Baker-Batsford made the check in process seamless, easy, and we were in the unit on time. Our unit #303 was perfectly spotless, and one of the most beautiful condos we have ever stayed in. The screened in porches were very nice for breakfast and dinner. The pool, beach, outdoor grill, the gas fire pit on the beach were as beautiful as they appeared in the pictures. We would highly recommend this unit to others. We would also highly recommend Sue Baker-Batsford at Freewheeler Vacations for any rental or purchase, as she was available during the week to answer any questions, and provide suggestions to enhance our stay on Islamorada. Thank You Sue for a great vacation. We will be returning in September 2021 to this same unit.

Nice home. Water at the beach was unusable due to large amounts of seaweed, but was pretty to sit on dock.

What a fantastic place! We loved every minute! The views were amazing. The condo was very spacious, well appointed and thoughtfully laud out. The view from the primary bedroom is absolutely breathtaking. We could watch the sunrise over the ocean. The pool was fantastic. The ocean was beautiful—we loved all the chairs and the hammocks. Such a beautiful place to stay—convenient, too. Right next to great restaurants, marinas and shopping. The staff of Freewheeler Vacations was wonderful. They helped us determine whether to travel during a hurricane and coordinated a package delivery during our stay. We will definitely be back! So grateful we found this gem!!

Maison Oceanfront is a premier property that can only be described as paradise. The property is immaculately clean every day, there is no noise, guests are courteous, and the condos are magnificent. The beach and pool are as beautiful as the photos. I would highly recommend Sue at Freewheeler Vacations as the go to agent. She made our vacation perfect in every way, and we can't wait to return for our next vacation. We have been going to Islamorada for many years and this is the "Best of the Best". Hugh & Diane.

Absolutely loved loved loved this condo! It couldn't have been better for us! A+++++ The pool was amazing, loved the whole property. The condo was clean, inviting and very homey and comfortable. Just beautiful! My only complaint, and it's not because of this owner. There was another owner that rented to a large family that was staying at one of the condos at the end of the pool on the right, as your facing it. They were friendly, but they did not take care of the pool area and were very disrespectful to the property. They had a big water balloon fight. Left all of the pieces floating in the pool, on the pool deck, stuck to the trees, in the mulch, just about everywhere. It wasn't just a few pieces, there was water baloon debris absolutely everywhere! They also left balloon pieces on the beach which is even worse. That will make it in the ocean and kill wildlife.

#303 Maison Matecumbe is the perfect Islamorada retreat! The views are spectacular, the pool is amazing, and you will want for nothing in the condo. From the comfy bed to the large shower with ocean views to the well stocked kitchen- it is the perfect place to spend the week! The condo is well appointed and very comfortable!! There are many spaces and nooks to relax! Sue was so helpful and accommodating- we appreciated her responsiveness to any question or issue that arose. My family especially appreciated the Key Lime pie that welcomed us upon our arrival! It was amazing! The proximity to restaurants, shops, and the Publix is so convenient. We loved everything about the condo and hope to return very soon!!

The people were very nice!Some owners were there. Sometimes owners can be a little rude to renters, this was not the case!  All of the folks were very nice! The grounds were well maintained.We had a great time and booked for next jan 20024! Gerald Mastellone
