Angler's Reef 136

The place was very comfortable. Very clean and well maintained. Great location. Will stay there again. This was our second time at Anglers Reef. Thank you

My wife and I stayed in #136 (with the prior owner) in February 2020, this year with the new owner and manager, and have already signed up for next year. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays. With a few updates to the TVs, kitchen flatware and grill, #136 could easily be a 5 Star property.

Nicely equipped and furnished home. Very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the pool. Pool rules are not enforced. A number of teens were obnoxious for 2 days, running jumping diving without regard for others just trying to enjoy the water. Parents were MIA.

Recently returned from a 7 night stay at Angler’s Reef #136. The home is very clean and well equipped! The community is very nice with two beach areas and a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean. We have been visiting the Islamorada area for the last 20 years and this has become one of our favorite neighborhoods to stay. It was a pleasure working with Sue at Freewheeler Vacation Rentals. She was always there to answer any questions and assist in any way possible. We plan to return next year!

Could leave a broom out for the renters for spills

The home was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed our stay. My only feedback would be to possibly purchase a few more coffee cups and an egg spatula. We had to coni the running the dish washer for these items.

My husband and I stayed in home #136. It was newly redone and absolutely gorgeous! There was so much space for the 5 of us. I loved having the laundry machines upstairs, and the balconies off the bedrooms were amazing. The community pool did look a lot bigger in pictures. It got very crowded and there were never enough chairs.

This is a must stay if your looking for a house in Islamorada. First, we opened the door to find cookies and a welcome card !!! Who doesn’t love cookies. The house was spotless and every question I had she responded in a timely manner. I would totally stay here again! The house is maybe a 30 second walk to the pool and about the same for the ocean. And can I say THE HOUSE WAS SPOTLESS! There’s a dishwasher, washer/dryer, a pullout couch bed (that is actually comfy) grill and pretty much every you could need.

We actually rented 3 units in Angler's Reef for our June, family vacation. My husband and two of our daughters stayed in Unit 136, and it was absolutely wonderful! It seemed a little larger than the other two units we rented, so unit 136 was "home base" for our family. We had plenty of room for cooking and eating together, and the house was fully stocked with kitchen appliances, utensils, and cookware. There were also plenty of beach towels to use at the pool, and we loved having a washer and dryer to keep our towels and other laundry caught up during the week. The Angler's Reef community was so well kept and it was a short walk to our other two units during the week. We also loved the close proximity to dining options when we ate dinner out a couple of times during the week. I can't say enough about how helpful Sue was before and during our stay. She was always willing to answer any questions and make our trip easy and relaxing. My husband and I definitely plan to visit again and are now "spoiled" with this gem in Angler's Reef!!

We loved our stay at Angers Reef! Our unit was super clean, comfortable and was nicely decorated. The location is convenient and all of the people around the condo area were exceptionally warm and friendly. Sue is amazing, sweet, courteous and helpful. We loved having the boat slip and well kept fish cleaning station on site. Best vacation ever! We are already planning our next trip and will stay at Anglers Reef again. Thank you very much!!

Such an amazing vacation!! May thanks to Sue at Freewheeler for her attentiveness and help throughout the booking and while we there. Renting through Freewheeler also saved some $ (no booking fee through the other site!). Angler’s Reef is a dream- absolute beautiful property, great pool, quiet and peaceful. Our house was amazing too! Much more spacious than the pictures showed- we all kept commenting about how much bigger it was than expected. Spotlessly clean and perfectly furnished and well equipped kitchen. (Just note that you need to bring everything food wise. No spices, oils, salt/ pepper). And, I can’t believe they don’t lead with this… but there is an ocean view from the front porch (morning coffee looking out at the sea??? Yup!) This was one of my most favorite things. The little beaches are nice for sitting and looking out at the sea. Not quite a swimmable spot (although our kid did), but great for an evening drink, watch some wildlife or to let the kid play in the sand- we typically had the beach to ourselves. We kept saying you could just spend your whole vacation on property and it would still be great. Location was great- close to some attractions but not a super busy/ built up area. Walk to Island Grill or a short drive to lots of other great places. Grocery store maybe 10 minutes away. Boat rental place right next to Island grill was great and accommodating. We knew this place was going to be nice by looking at the pictures, but everything about 136 Angler’s Reef far exceeded our expectations. The pictures give you a nice idea, but seriously, wait till you see it. I still can’t believe it was all real. We hope to return one day and bring more people with us!

You have a very beautiful home! The complex and grounds were gorgeous! We would like to come again someday! The management were very accommodating and communicated with us very well.

We had a wonderful time at Anglers Reef. The property suited our needs perfectly and Anglers Reef is a very well maintained and safe area. We particularly enjoyed the free kayaks and dock area. Sue in Freewheelers was very responsive to all queries and very kind. We would highly recommend and hope to come back again.

This was our third year staying in #136. It has a partial view of the Atlantic from the back porch and provides renters with all of the essentials.
