We are happy to welcome you in our vacation home facing the sea, which you will be able to
enjoy from the private garden in the hammock, from one of the lounge-chairs, at the dinner
table, or from the inside of our modern house through the large Florida Bay.
Hidden in the midst of wonderful trees, vegetation and beautiful, friendly wildlife, you will be able
to enjoy the seclusion of our home located at the very end of a most quiet street, whilst
being able to get back to civilization in a jiffy, thanks to the many advantages of the city of
Marathon located 10 minutes away by car, as well as the many nearby beaches.
Our lucky seafront location also enables our guests to go for a swim and discover the
magnificently preserved underwater life!
Other plus points include two kayaks and a very high-end electric piano for music lovers.
The house in itself offers three modern bedrooms, a tv room, a music room and of course a
fully-equipped kitchen to satisfy all of your needs (refrigerator, freezer, oven,
microwave, stove, dishwasher), as well as two beautiful spotless bathrooms and a
fully-equipped laundry room (washer, dryer and iron).
Grassy Key's climate enables people to enjoy daily warm temperatures all year round and is a
perfect home in all seasons. Nevertheless, to satisfy all of our guests and guarantee their
wellbeing, a radiator is also included, just in case. :)
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us! We will treat you as friends and
wish you a most pleasant stay.
Other things to note , as mentioned, the kayaks are included in the rental. The closest beach to use them is Sombrero
Beach, which is part of our Guidebook recommendations for our esteemed guests :)
To go for a swim, kindly use the path on the left hand side of the garden beyond the area of
shallow waters and algae, straight to the sea - please be mindful of the rocks and don't forget
your snorkeling equipment to observe the mesmerizing underwater life living just in front of the
property. :)

We enjoyed our stay at this recently modernized and comfortable vacation home. It was in a nice friendly neighborhood close to the town of Marathon where we felt safe and could take daily walks. There were many good seafood restaurants and ample opportunities for fishing nearby. Located halfway between Key West and Key Largo, it was also a good base for exploring the Keys. We could not have chosen a better place for our Florida Keys needs.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this home on Grassy Key for Spring Break. The landscaping was so well maintained and lush and really gave it that tropical feel. The home itself was so clean and tidy. I loved the chic decor and the wonderful view from the kitchen windows. The location was on a quiet street and it was also convenient getting to many restaurants and activities on Marathon. I would definitely recommend this house to any one looking for a relaxing getaway to the Keys.

My wife and I stayed here for a week. It was perfect for us. Plenty of room for more people. We really only used the back half of the house. Beautiful view all the time. Kayak was great. A/C and other appliances all worked great. Thank you!!
It is obvious the owners really care about this property. The house is spotless, unique in it's layout, with good quality appliances. The grounds are nice, with a nice ocean view. We weren't adventurous enough to try to access the water by foot (the house is actually on a mangrove edge) but took 2 of the 4 kayaks down to the park on the other end of Morton St. and used them down there. We really aren't interested in doing laundry on vacation, but it was nice to have, and yes we did use it.
